At Kawakawa Primary we offer a range of sporting and cultural opportunities for all students.

Netball

Kawakawa Primary has 4 netball teams this year. All teams play in the Kerikeri Netball Centre Competition on Saturdays.

Netball Practice Times

All players need their netball shoes, a change of clothes to train in and a drink bottle please.

Rugby

There is not a school rugby team but our tamariki play for local rugby clubs during the winter season.

Our kura benefit immemsely from the tuition and dedication our clubs provide for our tamariki. We utilise the skills and trainings they have learnt and seek further opportunities through our school networks to continue to nurture and foster our tamariki in hakinakina.
