A free bus service is available morning and afternoon for students living in the Waiomio area.

Bay of Islands College to Kawakawa Primary
A bus runs morning and afternoon between Bay of Islands College and Kawakawa Primary School.
Tickets can be purchased from the Kawakawa Primary School office at the following prices:

$5.00 for 10 rides

$0.50 for a single fare

Clarks Coachlines Services
Clarks Coachlines provides transport for Bay of Islands College students in the following areas: Moerewa, Motatau, Matawaia, Opahi, Orauta, Pakaraka, and Kaikohe.
Kawakawa Primary students may use these services with permission from Clarks Coachlines. Costs are to be met by parents/caregivers. Morning and afternoon runs are available.

Tickets must be purchased directly from Clarks Coachlines at these rates:

Kawakawa – Moerewa: $30.00 (10 rides) or $3.50 (single)

Kawakawa – Matawaia: $30.00 (10 rides) or $4.00 (single)

Kawakawa – Kaikohe: $40.00 (10 rides) or $6.00 (single)
